It was the start of the football season, but not just at the collegiate level, also the high school campaigns kicked off this past weekend.
One Notre Dame football commit has already been highlighted for what he accomplished on Friday night, as cornerback [autotag]Mark Zackery IV[/autotag] took back an interception 100-yards for a pick-six. He wasn’t the only future member of the Irish to shine over the opening weekend.
On top of that there was a note on a huge Notre Dame 2025 target along with a brother of a current player would could earn an offer, and more recruiting info. Check out below the recap of highlights and update for the Irish from this past weekend.

Drayk’s younger brother is the better baseball player of the two, but isn’t bad on the gridiron. He may be the Irish’s next two-sport star.

We will know a lot more about Knight’s future plans after this weekend, but for now, he’s still and Irish commit that had a great senior season opener.

Leverage Matt, but he would be an imposing figure in the middle of the defensive line.

The Michigan offensive lineman will be on campus next weekend as the Irish take on Northern Illinois. While Benson doesn’t hold an offer, Notre Dame’s staff is aware of him.
Bettis Jr. again

Many have wondered if this legacy was worthy of a scholarship and Bettis is proving that he is.
